ERT Innovation Policy has been established on the permises that in order to supply competitive markets, it is off strategic importance to add value based on technology, industrial flexibility and the synergies between innovation capacity and alliances with customers, partners, suppliers, global players and particularly with research centres.
In 2016, ERT won the most prestigious innovation prize in Portugal, awarded by COTEC with the sponsorship of the Bank BPI, and delivered by its honorary president, His Excellency the Portuguese President.

tExtended is an EU-funded project with the overall objective of reduction of textile waste by developing and demonstrating effective textile recovery, waste valorization and recycling processes combined with digital tools, sensing systems and data-driven solutions to support sustainable circularity of textiles.

Teadal

TEADAL is a Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action that aims to provide key cornerstone technologies to create stretched data lakes spanning the cloud-edge continuum and multi-cloud, providing privacy, confidentiality, and energy-efficient data management. The TEADAL data lake technologies will enable trusted, verifiable and energy-efficient data flows, both in a stretched data lake and across a trustworthy mediator-less federation of them, based on a shared approach for defining, enforcing, and tracking privacy/confidentiality requirements balanced with the need for energy reduction. Pilot 4, the industrial environment demonstrator will be on ERT, has the objective of monitoring KPIs relevant to operational management and providing tools to minimize the impact of technology on the daily lives of its workers.

Lamitech: Laminados técnicos ativos para a construção, arquitetura e transportes

O presente projeto demonstrador tem como objetivo demonstrar tecnologias avançadas no âmbito dos laminados técnicos ativos, que visam evidenciar, perante um público especializado, e em situação real, as vantagens económicas e técnicas de novas soluções tecnológicas que não se encontram suficientemente validadas do ponto de vista tecnológico para utilização comercial.

GRADIERT

O objetivo geral do projeto é desenvolver compósitos com gradiente de propriedades, a partir de resíduos de EVA reforçados por fibras naturais, para serem utilizado em componentes de veículos, nomeadamente em medalhões do painel de porta de automóveis.

Projeto E2PT (Equine ElectroPeloTherapy)

The E2PT project aims to develop a new therapy system for horses, namely an electrical equipment that allows a transdermal application of therapeutic peloids, allowing a prevention and localized treatment of equine tendon and ligament deficiencies.

PAC – Interiores de Futuro

Portugal AutoCluster for the Future (PAC) Project is a mobilizing project led by Simoldes Plásticos, S.A. and closely aligned with Mobinov Cluster | Cluster Automóvel de Portugals actionplan. Through a set of activities with a high knowledge content, the PAC Project aims to address technological challenges specifically identified in the national automotive sector, which may leverage the competitiveness level of the entities operating within the automotive sector in Portugal and their position (and prominent) in an worldwide context.

Creative Innovation Center

This Center develops research, innovation, student mentorship, creativity, and project management activities for the ERT Group. It is installed at the company's headquarters as it is based on a strategy to value talent and the industrial potential of the ERT Group. It has a laboratory with equipment dedicated to research and innovation activities.
